Learning Music Is Supposed To Be Fun

Welcome to Tutti Commune, where music is not just about learning, but also about having fun! Tutti means “to play together” in music lingo, and that’s exactly what we want our students to experience! Playing music together is not only fun but it also helps to foster social interaction and allows students to learn a diverse set of musical and non-musical skills from one another.

From day one, we encourage our students to rock out with their fellow musicians. Students are encouraged to get together and perform in a classroom setting or on a stage, jamming to their hearts’ content. Our team of instructors are always there to help them. Music is not just a hobby, it’s the key to becoming an all rounded person.

Our Syllabus

Tutti wants to foster a culture of music education and proficiency. Students can choose between taking examinations or playing entirely as a hobby. We offer different exam syllabi that are catered towards budding classical and contemporary musicians.

Aspiring classical musicians, are strongly encouraged to pursue accredited examinations offered by UK based examination boards, namely the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity College London. Both boards are sanctioned by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and offer a graded curriculum ranging from level 1 to 8 as well as Diplomas, to gauge musical proficiency.

In parallel, students with a passion for contemporary music are encouraged to take up the Rockschool (RSL) examinations, also a UK based examination board. This curriculum is tailored to cater to those learning electric guitars, drums, acoustic guitar, keyboard, bass guitar, vocal, and ukulele, which offers graded assessments that measure the student’s musical skills and knowledge. Our team of experienced teachers are committed to supporting students on their journey to excellence.

Learn Outside Of The Box

Besides examinations, we also believe in learning by doing with a program packed with exciting events. Students are given an opportunity to unleash their musical prowess and collaborate like minded peers. From recitals and concerts to competitions and recordings, our students get to experience the thrill of performing on stage and recording their music.

But that’s not all! We also organize field trips to visit renowned music venues, workshops to hone your skills, seminars to gain industry insights, and camps to immerse yourself in music. Plus, we also provide counseling referrals to ensure that every student receives the support they need to excel in their musical journey. With Tutti, learning is never boring!

Human Are Social Beings

As we mentioned before, we at Tutti Commune wants our students to have experience. Playing music together is not only fun but also helps to foster social interaction and allows students to learn a diverse set of musical and non musical skills from one another.

For Group Class, our meticulously designed curriculum ensures that each lesson is not only informative but also engaging and enjoyable. The course is structured to cater to participants of all ages and proficiency levels.

Explore PLAY:ALL

Choosing the right instrument can be tricky, especially for kids! Most children don’t really know what they like at first, and it’s perfectly normal for them to change their minds along the way. Sometimes parents have one idea, while the kids are drawn to something completely different. That’s where PLAY:ALL comes in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the youngest age that we can accept?

We have students as young as 2 years old. We can do this because all our Teachers are able to have a deep understanding about kids, such as how they think, the learning curves of different age groups, VAK learning models and implementing Transactional Analysis Method.

I am unsure what is my kid’s interest. How do we know which instrument that they like?

We will recommend you to join PLAY:All, a program where we let them try maximum up to 4 instruments within a short period of time. At the end of the session, we will have a assessment report and will tell you more on what instruments they should continue and pursue.

I am an adult, am I suitable to learn music?

Absolutely! We adults actually learn faster than kids due to our strong understanding of the lessons content. All you need to do is have as much practice as you can.

Do we need to go for exams?

If you are here just to learn for fun, enjoy music and catch up on one of your dream list, you don’t need to go for exam. For us, exam is just another good push for students to excel. It is not a must.
